Last week I found something I'd forgotten...

I found my joy!

Last week I was onstage again.

200+ people.

No script.

Just an informal 30-minute onstage conversation with Eva Camerer, VP at Innovation Norway at their Made-In-Norway day event.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done something like that… and I forgot how good it can feel when I stop trying to perform… and just show up.

Something in me relaxed.

Something in me woke up.

It surprised me how quickly joy returned — not the “big celebration” kind… but that quiet, clean kind of joy that feels like life is flowing smoothly.

And it reminded me of something we teach in resilience work:

A powerful source of energy isn’t necessarily discipline.

It’s having something to look forward to.

Something that gives you real joy.  §:-)

The cost of being “too busy” is that I stop noticing the small things that restore me.

And if I take that too far… I don’t just get tired.

I lose my mojo.

That’s why our next webinar is about: Finding Joy — as a personal habit, and as something we can do for ourselves and also in our business teams (yes, seriously).

Because teams don’t just need alignment.

They need aliveness.

Warmly, - RICK §;-)
