How do I find joy?
And why this is important to my life and career?

Lately I've been thinking a lot about Joy.
It's such a simple word. Almost too simple. Easy for me to dismiss.Easy to treat as something extra. Something optional. Something I can get to later, after the serious things are done.
But joy is what happens when a few simple things come together: playfulness, connection, and flow.
When I look back on some of the best moments in my life and work, those elements are nearly always there.
Not perfection.
Not control.
Not achievement on its own.
But a sense of being present.
A sense of being with other people in a real way.
A sense of being absorbed in something that gave me energy rather than draining it.
I think we all are longing for more of that.
Not just success. Not just productivity. But that deeper feeling of aliveness and purpose.
And in my life it shows up in moments of lightness.
In real & deep conversations.
In work that becomes absorbing.
In being with people where I don’t have to perform.
In those moments when I am simply present and engaged.
That reflection is part of what is shaping our next webinar: Finding Your Joy.
Not as a fluffy idea.
Not as an escape from real life.
But as a way of reconnecting with what gives us energy, aliveness, and meaning - in your life and in the teams you work in.
More about this later...
Warmly, - Rick §;-)
